Natural-Historical Park “Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo”

Natural-Historical Park “Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo” occupies an area of 222.8 ha. There is a unique architectural park series of the XVII-XIX centuries - the manor of the Streshnevs, “Pokrovskoye-Glebovo-Streshnevo” that is a garden art memorial. The Khimka River flows along the North-East border of the park; small meadows and low-level moors lie in its bottom-land. Cascade of six ponds on the Chernushka River is surrounded by scenic meadows.

Wonderful pine plantings are preserved in the park; their average age is about 155 years. But the main species are birch, lime, oak and elm.
