Natural-Historical Park “Moskvoretsky”

The Moskvoretsky Park is the biggest natural park of the capital; the Moskva River valley jointed some natural areas there. This Park stands out among other protected natural areas of Moscow with the largest landscape and biological variety.

Nowadays the Western area of the Natural-Historical Park “Moskvoretsky” (1667.26 ha) lies within Moscow; but only one century ago it lied beyond the capital bounds. Archaeologists found out that people appeared even in the V century B.C. on the area taken by the Moskvoretsky Park nowadays.
